Aftabgardoon Campaign

A working child is any child under the age of 15 who is deprived of the natural right to education, play, health, etc. due to financial and cultural poverty in the family. Since 2016, Sepas Foundation, with the support of the working group of volunteer psychologists in the Aftabgerdoon campaign, with the help of trained helpers in 20 volunteer teams, appears every Monday afternoon in approximately 60 places in Tehran and Karaj (squares, crossroads or parks) and based on psychological teachings with the aim of reducing the level of anxiety and aggression, as well as increasing resilience and teaching social skills with the help of tools such as play therapy, art therapy & etc, by providing the following services, empowers working, street, and slum children:

• Preparation and distribution of educational packs, clothing, subsistence and support packages
• Teaching and literacy with fast style and using emotional intelligence
• Medical services such as surgeries, clinical and paraclinical treatments
• Forming and conducting sports exercises in the fields of football, volleyball and Dejabal
